About

We strive to support, maintain, and develop sustainable motorized trail access throughout Northern Colorado. Our goal is to preserve the efforts of those who came before us, for the sake of those who come after us.

NCTR was formed in 1992 as an advocacy organization to support motorized single track trails in Northern Colorado. This was in response to the local Forest Service office recommending closure of our few remaining motorized trails. Not only was NCTR able to keep these trails open, but we have adopted these trails and put in hundreds of hours each year doing trail clearing and managing OHV grants.  We have formed partnerships with our local land managers as well as the local mountain biking community to expand our current trail networks, as well as bringing many trails up to USFS sustainability standards.

We organize and lead multiple rides every year to maintain and improve these trails. If you’re interested in giving back to the community, check out our schedule to see when you can come join us for some riding and trail clearing, or join one of our other rides for some dirt biking!
