Snyder Creek Trail Description and Directions
By Gene Iley, Jr. (970-204-9946)
This trail has many different loops and sections for a total of 60+ miles. Some sections are easy and some are intermediate.
The trails to the east of Colorado Highway 125 and north of FR 106 are predominantly easy with a few intermediate short sections.
The sections to the west and south are mostly intermediate. This trail system has something for everyone.
DIRECTIONS:
From Rand, Colorado, go south on Colorado Highway 125 for 5 miles, then turn right (west) on FR106.
From Granby, go north on Highway 125 for 4 ½ to 5 miles past Willow Creek Pass and turn left (west) on FR106.
Go about 1 ¼ miles and turn left on a dirt road (FR190.1).
We camp a couple of hundred yards down this road on the left in a big open area.
This is dispersed camping and there are no facilities.
